Hector the Car Dealer
$125 $47.99 5 books · pay once
For forty years I sat on the dealer's side of the desk, and I know every line, every fee and every product they will put in front of you, because I put them there. Here is all of it, one thing to a page: what they say, what you say back, what it costs you, and the rule that protects you.
Never Answer These on the Car Lot is the main book of the set: 5 books, $47.99 once, for all five.
Who I am
I'm Hector, and I'm seventy-one. I came to Miami from Havana in 1966 with my mother and one suitcase. In 1975 I started selling cars on a Miami lot, and from 1989 I ran the finance office, the little room they call the box, where the real money in a car deal is made.
I learned every line they will say to you, because I said them. I retired in 2015, and now I'm on your side of the desk. These books are everything I know, written down in plain words, so you walk in with the scripts and walk out with your money.

Readers
These came in from people who bought the books and took the trouble to say how they got on. Their words, not mine.
What you get
Enough to walk into any dealership knowing every line before they say it, refuse the products you don't need, and strike the made-up fees off the sheet. You look up what you need tonight. You don't read it front to back.
Before you leave the house (the out-the-door price by email, the pre-approval, your walk-away number), every question of the first five minutes with what to say back, the test drive, the four-square at the desk, the manager and the long wait, and how to leave and get the call back. The 101 lines they say, the folder to bring, and the sheet to compare three dealers.
How the box makes money, the buy rate and the rate on your contract, your own pre-approval, 0% or the rebate, the long loans, every product on the menu one by one (service contract, GAP, tire and wheel, key, paint, etching and the rest), the contract line by line and the federal box, and how to cancel a product after you sign, with the letter to send.
The three real fees, the doc fee and how to offset it, market adjustments, protection packages and every add-on fee one by one with what it really is, the Buyers Guide on a used car, title brands and the federal title check, and ten buyer's orders with the fees struck out. The fee sheet you take to the desk.
The three values of your car, written offers before you go, the over-allowance trick, the sales tax credit on a trade, when to sell it yourself, when to say you're paying cash, the $10,000 cash paperwork, 0% or the rebate with the real math, and the worksheet for your numbers.
The dealer's calendar month by month, extended warranties and when one makes sense, new, used or certified, the seat height test and the safety features that matter after sixty, and keeping a car fifteen years. The fit test, the ten questions and the eight-year cost table.
427 pages across the set. PDF files you download the minute you pay, to read on a phone, a tablet or a computer, or to print at home.
Questions
Five books as PDF files: Never Answer These on the Car Lot, Inside the Box, The Fee Killer Sheet, and free with them, Your Trade-In and Your Cash and The Right Car After 60. 427 pages in all.
No, it's a digital download, so it reaches you the minute you pay. Every page prints well at home on ordinary paper, in large clear print. Most people print the scripts, the fee sheet and the checklists and carry them in a folder to the dealership.
No. Each book starts with what to do first, and the scripts are one to a page, so you can read the ones you need tonight and use them tomorrow. You don't have to read anything front to back.
A video tells you a few lines in fifteen minutes. These books are every line, every fee and every product on its own page: what they say, what you say back, what it costs you, the rule that protects you and what they'll try next. Plus the sheets you take with you.
Yes. The scripts, the finance office and the fee sheet work for both. There's a full part on used cars and the window sticker the federal rule requires, and one on your trade-in and paying cash.
No. It's what a retired dealer learned in forty years, explained in plain words. Rules and fees change from state to state, so the books show you what to ask and where to check, and tell you plainly when to ask your own lawyer, accountant or your state's consumer office.
After you pay, you land on a page with a big DOWNLOAD button for each book, and the links come to your email too. If anything goes wrong, write to bagasystudio@gmail.com, say what you bought, and the books are sent to you straight away. It comes to a person.
